Ethan has been in Boston for 9 days doing some work there. He finally made it home to us late last night. Man are we all so glad to have him here with us. Though he is already back at work here, it is sure nice knowing that he is in the same city and that each evening we get to be with him. He did the kitchen for the New England Patriots kicker and he did a beautiful job. In a month or so he will go back to do his brothers kitchen and maybe another ladies who had Ethan go measure while he was there. From the looks of it, this could really take off and Ethan flying across the country every few months my become a part of his and our lifestyle. I say... what a time for this to come up, right as we are about to have twins! We will see how it goes. It sure is interesting the twists and turns that life brings our way.
I was so glad to have him here today because I had an ultrasound this morning. I have been excited for the past month waiting to see our boys on the screen and to make sure that they are developing well. Every time I have a Dr. visit I get more excited about the fact that we have two boys coming our way and it becomes less scary to me. These two are sure wiggly! I don't know if it was from them being able to feel the pushing of the Doppler or that this is just their little personalities. They sure didn't want their pictures taken today and squirmed, kicked, and pushed. I did think it was cute that they were snuggled right up against each other. The tech had mentioned the fact that they were right together and kind of surprised given being in different sacks and being small. I hope they are close and will find a close bond with Mr. Max, who is excited to have 2 little brothers. He is going to be such a good big brother and I can't wait to see that interaction. So far the boys are measuring right on schedule, which is great that at this point they aren't measuring big. Though Max measured on schedule and towards the end his growth took off and was born 2 weeks early weighing 9.9. So we will continue to watch them and see if they do the same. So I am 23 weeks and they measure the perfect weight for that. On the contrary my uterus and everything combined is measuring 30 weeks! Yikes! Having 2 placentas, 2 sacks and extra fluid takes up a lot of room. I'm a little scared to see how all that plays out over the next few months. Anyways... I am just grateful for Ethan's safe return home to us and for our growing family that I love so much. We really are blessed and I am enjoying the journey!
